Insurance question - driving abroad

We are a retired couple - we're in our early 60s and have bought a motorhome. It's in France, where it's registered, as we have a boat moored there. We have a winter home in the Algarve, and between France and the Algarve, we plan to travel with our new motorhome.

So the question is who will insure us? We want to keep the motor home French registered, and have French insurance at present, but would prefer to change the insurance to another company - preferably English - as we have already come across a problem with the French insurance company.

We also want to travel to Morroco in January, and they do not cover us for anywhere outside of Europe.

Has to be insured by an insurer with an office in the country where it is registered. Since your boat is moored in France you can probably register an address at the Marina. It's this kind of thing that stands in the way of your very enviable lifestyle.
