Gearbox Bearing Noise

When my clutch is released sitting in neutral there is a buzzing noise from the gearbox area, and can be heard within the car. And in first and second gear, the noise is also audible but not as loud.

I have had the clutch replaced including a new clutch release bearing and the issue remains. What else could it be? Also I heard that the 1.6 Seat Ibiza shares the same gearbox with Audi/VW cars which share this issue?

Probably no more than the variable quality of the transmissions. This has always been the case with VAG gearboxes. They have produced some real shockers.
