Warranty work

My Skoda Fabia is now less than 18 months old,I purchased it new from Robert Eardley Stoke, the problem is the wheels wont come off if I have a puncture , they are seized on , I have tried hitting with a rubber mallet with no success, as this can be very dangerous on a side jack ,I took it back to the dealer who insisted I would have to pay them as it was not a warranty issue. What do you think.

Normal because alloy wheels fuse to cast iron hubs. The best way to get them off is to simply loosen the bolts slightly without jacking the car up, then grab the wheels one at a time and use the weight of the car to shake them free. You should then jack it up, take the wheels off and put some grease between the hubs and the wheels to prevent them fusing together again.
