Keep or sell a Fabia Estate?

I have a 2005 registered Skoda Fabia Estate 1.9 Tdi Elegance with just under 30,000 miles on the clock. I've had it from new and it has been dealer serviced throughout. We (my wife and I) like the car but I realise that we have only done low mileage for a diesel.

My question is: should we keep it and run it into the ground and perhaps buy a warranty from Warranty Direct 'just in case' or trade it in for something else now? A 2-year warranty has been quoted at £538.

Touch wood, no trouble with the car so far. Next year I want to tour Scotland and the North of England (we live in Somerset) and expect to put on the mileage then.

This has a more reliable engine than VAG's later 2.0 and 1.6 diesels and no diesel particulate filter to worry about so is actually worth keeping.
