Saab 9-3 hood hydraulic fault

I have leaky hydraulics on my hood which I need deal with fairly quickly as I have bought a repacement car. Timing is everything they say! Local SAAB dealer has inspected and told me the part required but the hose is on back order with no date (new supplier being sourced).

Do you know of any other way of dealing with this?

Phone some agricultural machinery specialists. This machinery uses similar electro hydraulics and mechanics know how to fix them and can modify parts. Please let me know how you get on.
