Which small automatic?

We are looking for a cheap to run/repair economical car which will do about 16,000 miles a year.

My wife has an automatic license & so that limits us somewhat. Five seats including three that can take child seats would be a huge preference, but not essesential. Diesel is fine (but we do like the look of the petrol Skoda Citigo, but it can only take 2 child seats.)

We have up to £11k to spend & generally keep our cars for a long time (this is replacing a thirsty Y-reg Saxo 1.6 petrol auto.) However we would only keep the car for about 5 years if it can only take 2 child seats.

The Citigo, auto is not a proper auto and apparently does not work very well. Better a Hyundai i10 1.2 auto, Suzuki Splash 1,2 auto or Vauxhall Agila 1.2 auto.
