Ford Focus Central Locking

I have developed a problem with my central locking, the car locks and alarms every time the key fob is pressed but when i try to open the doors it is usually only the drivers door that unlocks.

I have the black key fob with three buttons.. lock, unlock and boot release, when the unlock is pressed it sounds as if all the door locks are trying to open but only the drivers side physically unlocks.

Changed battery in fob and carried out reset proceedure ie turn ignition to pos 2 four times etc but to no avail, with a young family problem is now becoming really annoying. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Check the manual. There is a programmable anti-hijack function that enables to fob to be programmed to only open the drivers door.
