What next after the Ford Puma?

I have had my beloved Puma for ten years and due to its age, it's starting to get expensive to run. Why did Ford stop making Pumas, and will they ever manufacture them again? I have heard that Puma drivers hold onto their cars for years as they can't find anything similar.

Can you recommend any modern cars similar in style to the curvy Puma that I might like to look at for my next car?

Yes. Mazda2 1.3TS2. It's like a cheaper, but sportier Fiesta.
