Tyre and alloy wheel insurance

I just bought a 2010 bmw320d sport with low profile tyres and expensive alloys from main dealer John Clark Aberdeen. I have been offered tyre & alloy wheel insurance @ £349 for 3 yrs for accidental demanges. Is this a good deal or do these covers have large get out clauses for the insurance companies which are not immediately apparent to the unsuspecting public?

Get a couple of competitive quotations from independent insurance brokers. This is a commission earner for BMW salesmen who are also IFAs. They get very little commission from selling cars.
