Range Rover Vogue - advice welcome

Long time reader and big fan. I am looking to treat myself and go for a Range Rover Vogue. Due to a budget of ess than 15k I am limited to around 2003 model and 50-80,000 miles (or km as I live in France now). I have found several in my area (and in UK) for around this price and value, many of whom have alrady changed the suspension, compressor, chain, tensioners, water pump etc.

I believe this is a good car and if well maintained it will be a worthy investment - I intend to run this for a few years. I live in a ski resort so a reliable and quality 4x is essential, have a lot of equipment and more importantly I am willing to pay for bit of luxury (and fuel).

I have scanned your forum, may I ask your view and if you believe there is a better option for my budget / requirement?

I'd steer very clear because of the potential for enormous expense: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/land-rover/range-rov.../

I'd try to find a 2010 or later Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2 R-Type diesel.
