Alternatives to the Hyundai i20

I am looking for a smallish 5 door petrol auto, with c£12k to spend. I quite like the look of the Hyundai i20 1.4 auto, but could you suggest anything else? Driving will be mainly A/B roads with some motorway thrown in every now and then.

There's also the new KIA Picanto 1.2 auto. Smaller, but more economical, and with a 7 year warranty. But the most fun is a Mazda2 1.5 TS2 Activematic.
