Automatic gearbox problem on Ford Focus

I have a 1.6 petrol Ford Focus automatic. It struggles to get past first gear into the upper range. I've been told this could be a gearbox solenoid. Problem is which one? There are six in the gearbox.

Yes. Valve block solenoid. Get it to a member of www.fedauto.co.uk
