The wheel thing

We have ordered, but have yet to take delivery a new KIA Picanto. I note it comes with a tyre inflation kit rather than a spare wheel. I'm a little concerned as we may do several long journeys. Do you have any experience with this type of spare? Interestingly the salesman offered to replace it with a proper spare wheel for an extra £150.

Take up the dealer offer. Tyrefix kits cannot repair more than a nail hole and unless the stuff is water-based the tyre then has to be replaced.
