Dale Winters

As I've recently moved to the Yorkshire Dales I'm interested in purchasing some winter tyres for my Mazda 6 2.0 TS. It's currently shod with 205/55 R16 Pirelli P6000s. Please could you suggest some suitable winter tyres? I will also need some steel wheels and I'm concerned that if I order from a website I may end up with wheels that don't fit over my brake discs. Can you recommend a knowledgeable supplier?

Every recent Mazda 6 appears to be on alloy wheels, minimum size tyres 205/55 R16, so it makes more sense to get a 2nd set of used wheels and put the winter tyres on them. I'd go for Michelin Alpins or Pirelli Sotto Zeros. www.mytyres.co.uk may be able to supply. For readers in the South East, www.event-tyres.co.uk are excellent for winter tyres, all weather tyres and runflats at sensible prices.
