Renewed figure

My car insurance with the RAC recently came up for renewal, the price jacked up by over £100 since last year. I went back to my old insurer, Direct Line, who gave a quote lower than the last time I insured with them three years ago, and didn’t give the RAC the opportunity to match it. I can tell your readers that great satisfaction is to be had not by haggling with a company that has put up premiums for no apparent reason, but by punishing them by taking your business elsewhere.

Yes. Unfortunately there is one disadvantage. If you have a crash that writes off your car, it also usually terminates an insurance policy in its first year, and you have to start again.
