Honestly, best policy?

My wife has a 1999V Ford Focus 1.8LX with about 67k miles on the clock. It currently has fully comprehensive insurance but is only used very occasionally, less than 2k miles a year. I am not sure that this level of cover is really necessary for a car that is nearly 12 years old. Would third party, fire and theft be more appropriate? I would appreciate your comments.

In most cases, switching to 3rd party does not save you any money and in some cases actually costs more because there are more claims on 3rd party policies than on comprehensive policies. If you have more than one car, it might make sense to put them all on the same multi-car policy. Talk to www.primoplc.com or www.admiral.com
