Mazda 2, good value for money?

I have seen a Mazda 2 1.3 TS (2010) with just 2,600k on the clock and an asking price of £8,000. Do you think this is good value? This model doesn't appear to have ABS. What alternative make & model would you recommend with ABS ?

Might not be the latest model at under 120g/km CO2. But still huge fun to drive. All current shape Mazda 2s have always had ABS.
