What £5k small car?

My sister used to share ownership of an R reg Alfa Romeo 156 but now needs to buy something for herself.

She has a maximum of £5,000 to spend but cannot decide between Vauxhall Corsa, Ford Fiesta, Peugeot 207 or Mazda 2.

She would like something with a bit of style rather than a 'tin box on wheels' but the engine size doesn't need to be as big as the Alfa. It will not be used much during the week, but will cover both long and local journeys at weekends.

Which of the above would be best, or could you recommend something else for her to look at?

Mazda 2 1.3TS2 if she can find one for £5k. Otherwise a Fiesta 1.25 or 1.4.
