Trading a Mondeo against a 500 TwinAir

I am 64, have a Mondeo '06 in VGC with 47000mls and I'm thinking of downgrading for economy reasons. I'm looking at a Fiat 500 Twinair. Can spend £3k - £5k plus trade in for the Mondeo.

You don't say which Mondeo, but assuming a 1.8LX, you only have £2,500 in that car and adding £3k - £5k won't get you a TwinAir. Book retail for an 08 1.2 Lounge with 40k miles is £6,825.
