What are my consumer rights if my timing belt snaps if fitted 18 months ago?

In Sept 2009, I had a timing belt kit fitted on my Peugeot 306 (2001). They replaced the water pump at the same time. My mileage was 76692. This timing belt snapped this morning (4/7/11), with only 9500 more miles on the clock. What, if any, consumer rights do I have?

Nearly two years later so something else could have happened to snap it. Impossible to prove a case in court.
