Can I ask for a like-for-like courtesy car due to a manufacturer fault?

I own a Mercedes AMG GT C which had a manufacturer fault. The replacement part is taking more than 2 months to arrive at the dealer. I've been offered an A-Class as a courtesy car. I want to know if it's possible to get a like-for-like courtesy car due to the length of time the replacement part is taking to arrive?

You are not legally entitled to a like-for-like loan car; however, you are entitled to make it clear to the dealer that you are very unhappy with the customer service. The dealer should take the hint and be more accommodating with the courtesy car. If not, tell the dealer you will be finding another Mercedes-Benz dealership to deal with all future servicing and maintenance costs.
