I am considering buying a used car, first a 2004 Suzuki Wagon R + GL, 41,000 miles at £3,400; second a 2003 Fiat Punto Active 1,242cc manual, 71,000 miles at £ 2,700. Which is best? What do you think?
The dealer will only guarantee the engines, nothing else, for 3 months. Is this the correct procedure?

Firstly, these cars are expensive. Secondly the dealer is legally responsible for these cars for 6 months from purchase whatever he says and, since he is attempting to deny your normal consumer rights over cars sold at high retail prices, I recommend that you have nothing whatsoever to do with him.
