  For the Ford anti-corrosion warranty to be valid, do you need to get the car serviced by a dealer (or be able to prove it's been serviced to the same standard) or do you just need to get the paint inspections done?  It doesn't seem clear from the service book whether servicing by a dealer

  hi all ive got a 52 plate 1.8 tdci ford focus estate wich has got 111000 miles. Recently ive had a misfire wich has been getting worse. this misfire baffles me, its only there when its cold, but when the car warms up it seems to disapear. If anybodys experianced this all advice gladly taken

  52K approx, full service history etc., oil pump gasket failed (oil pump hopefully O.K) needing urgent replacement, which is NOT covered by Ford extended warranty -  £550 !! Dealer also insists cambelt to be replaced . Is this reasonable as well ?

  We have a ford escort 1989 auto 1.6. Only done 63,000 miles coolant last changed over 10 years ago. There is no discolouration but Ford no longer makes coolant we used. Ours is dark blue in coolant tank. I read new coolant from Ford isn't suitable for old models. Can anyone advise? Thanks!

  Hi, looking for a quick answer if possible. How do I remove the plastic cover to an interior light on the transit. Assume it may be the same as some other Fords.
