  of using one on a “future” classic as the alarm, etc. drain the battery when standing. However the lighter circuit is only live when the ignition is turned on (not a sensible option). I was wondering what the best way to wire the charger in was on a more modern car with ECU, etc?

  if "clocking" was still an issue nowadays. Electronic tachos and ECUs will make it more difficult, I suppose. And the MOT printout now lists the mileage, I think.
