With a 1.6Hdi 110hp, if the turbo pressure was boosted by altering the actuator push rod. Would the ECU system see the extra boost and increase the fueling, increasing the power. As you could do on the mechanical pumps and turbos of such as the 306 Pugs and ZX Citroens. Curious as the question -

306 1.6 22 Nov 2004 (Forum)
I've been offered a Peugeot 306 1.6 XS 98, it's a tidy example and done relatively low-mileage (52000). I know that it only has the 90bhp engine, but I wondered whether anyone knew what the revisions were to make it to a 100bhp and more economical (5mpg) in 2000? If it is just a new ECU, then I -

My Renault Espace 1990 Petrol injection won't fire. Mechanic has confirmed it runs if power is run directly to the fuel pump, but otherwise pump receives no power. He suggested ECU controls fuel pump so that's been computer checked and is OK. He thinks there is a relay somewhere but cannot locate -

Audi A3 + S3 (2003 - 2008) - 04 2.0 FSI Cruise Control Problem 28 Dec 2008 (Forum)
Column ECU'. Needless to say, when I picked the car up from the Audi garage and drove it home, the cruise control promptly failed. It's been booked back into the Audi garage but this is now the 4th time it's been in (to a garage) and while it's cost me nothing for the 'repairs' so far, it's becoming -
Zafira and faulty petrol 31 Mar 2007 (Forum)
, there it was! So . . . back to the garage. They have put it on the diagnostics machine and say it is showing no faults apart from 'running lean' - I could have told them that, it is drinking petrol! And they say it is now the ECU and suggest we take it to a main dealer as they don't know what to do. My car -
