Diesel - Driving it Wrong? 10 Nov 2019 (Forum)
I've just got an Audi A1 1.6 TDI. Before, I had a 2008 VW Polo petrol. Don't have much experience of driving diesels. The Polo would sit happily on a flat road at 30 in 5th, but the diesel won't. Even 4th at 30 is a struggle for it sometimes. I'd have thought with the diesel being more powerful -

Drink / Drive Campaign 8 May 2017 (Forum)
Every year just before Christmas, the government usually launches, with much publicity, their seasonal anti drink drive advertising campaign. This seemed to pass me by this year. I don't recall the usual fanfare or the adverts in the press or on TV. If there was such a campaign, I missed it, so -

Corsa/500 - Fat Examiners 17 Oct 2010 (Forum)
Hope I'm not being fat-ist. Remember about a year ago when BSM replaced all their driving school Corsas with Fiat 500s. It now seems that government driving examiners are too fat to get in them, so BSM are going back to Corsas http://www.dailymail.co.uk/motoring -
