  30 odd in the urban setting, 37 or 38 on longer runs, never better than 38 For a DIESEL! From one who was getting 50 plus overall, from the same driving mix, from der Skoda. A pleasent  car with good access & seating and also deceptively fast, imho.

  I have just done my morning run up the M6.  I saw a Nissan GT-R being towed and it made me laugh a bit (early morning schadenfreude). I think I'd be very cross if I'd spent over £70k on a car to have it conk out just after Lancaster. Anyone else seen anything amusing

  Fixing my mates Zafira... alternator gave a burning smell and no longer works. Vauxhall said it's a common fault. The car is currently running a 105 amp. will stepping up to a 130 amp be better or is it pointless? anyone have any ideas? cheers, M_Loades

  Hi i think the clutch release bearing has gone on the dam ford ka due to it making a strange rattling noise when the clutch is pressed. My question is if i can live with the noise is it ok to leave it, or will this damage something else in the long run, thanks Paul.

  Hi,  I get a rattle on the front drivers side when the engine runs  at 1000 to 1200 revs then it goes away.  It only happens at those revs not higher or lower.  There is no rattle when idling of at higher revs.  Any ideas on this.  Thanks.

  at 1200 revs this noise sounds from under the bonnet/engine compartment, just sounds like a valve openning or a relay kicking in, no disruption to the running of the car, fuel economy perfect, approx 15 miles per hour, any ideas guys.

  Hi. I have noticed at between 75 - 80mph that my car has developed a vibration which is felt through the floor and the seat of my pants. When it dips under 75 it runs smoothly. The car has done 89000 miles.

  hi all, my sidelights work on my 1996 1.25 fiesta, but the headlamps dont, they used to just fine, where are the fuses for the headlamps, and do they run off the same fuse as the sidelights? if they do then it not the fuse i guess, what else could it be? cheers

  I am getting reluctant to visit this site. It seems to tie my CPU up at almost 100% and slow my computer right down. I am running latest Firefox with popup blocker on and Flash disabled. I am not a computer expert - what is going on and how can I fix it?
