  For a 2001 1.4 vvti model (last of old shape) does anyone have a diagram of what has to be removed to check the box level? Also what top up oil should be used? Also I cannot see an adjuster for the alternator drive belt. How is the belt tensioned please? Thanks.

  We have to frequently drive 2 miles to the nearest park to walk our dog, it varies but on average 5 times a week. Is this likely to cause damage to the 2 Litre petrol engine (it's a new Mazda) and how badly ? I read that it might seeing as a car needs over 3 miles to complete a full cycle.

  Car drives perfectly. Idling is perfect. BUT engaging drive the lever baulks and when forced in causes a horrible crunching noise. The button on the side of the gearlever is fine.
