  Has anyone else out there found modern (post approx 2000) cars to be vastly inferior to mid nineties cars to drive? Modern cars seem incapable of soaking up bumps competently and have fiddly rides that I find highly uncomfortable. I'm on my fifth car now since selling my 96 Astra 2 years ago

  When I found the air con not operating, I found the drive belt from the crankshaft to the compressor had come off. Is there an adjustment for the compressor to alter the tension of the drive belt? I cannot figure out how the belt came off the pulleys, as it was too 'tight' to slip over them
