company car-this wasn't meant to happen 29 Jul 2005 (Forum)
Went on holiday 2 weeks ago, all smiles as i'd managed to negotiate a company car on my last day before going away. I'd spent all that day looking over the list, and had decided on a vw golf 2.0 td gti. Came back today, and i have to take an unallocated car first, until it's lease runs out -
Renault Laguna engine problem 26 Jun 2005 (Forum)
The blue lagoona is knackered again. It sounds like it running on 3 cylinders. It has a lack of power but no engine management light. It is driveable and can reach 70 if your bones can take the vibration. Could it be one of the coils gone? It makes sense except that I am sure that I read a post -

My company has offered me the chance to buy a Rover 75 CDT Classic, first registered 06/05/04 (04 reg). It was run by a recently retired director, and was given to me when he left. It has 12k on the clock, and appears to hev been well looked after. If I don't buy it I was told it would be sold -

97 or 95? 10 Jun 2005 (Forum)
Quick dullard question! I get an average of 18mpg out of the Jag using 95 octane petrol from Shell usually. Will running it on Super give me better mpg? I'm after the most cost-effective solution, so is it worth the extra 6ish pence a litre (bearing in mind it swallows about 75 litres a time -

Dear Back Room I own a 96 2.0 Primera auto saloon . I would like some advice regarding the more recent models. How does the 1.8 compare to the 2.0? Are any of later models CVT?. I understand this should be avoided. I am looking for longevity, reliability and low running costs. I would -

Hi mileage though in good order, its now using a lot of fuel - having previously been very frugal! I've replaced "O" ring in inlet manifold (completely knackered)and autochoke does now get hot when running. I suspect wax stat and/or Pull down lever! Any advice on how to determine the more likely -
Digital odometers 18 Apr 2005 (Forum)
and I was wondering if it had a digital odometer, would it still clock up the mileage if the electrics were turned off? If so, then surely when it comes to selling said car, although the running gear will have covered the accumulated mileage, the engine wouldn't have. -
