VW 2007 2.0 Golf GT TDI 140 BKD - Tensioner Stud 9 Mar 2020 (Forum)
Hi everyone Had the above car for around 5 years now with no major problems. I do most maintenance tasks myself but when it came to the routine cambelt/tensioner/water pump change, I took it to Awesome GTI because I knew that there was a chance that the tensioner stud thread could strip -
SEAT Alhambra - Rear tyres worn on inside 15 Jan 2020 (Forum)
Car is a 2013 Mk2 Alhambra (7N). Just put two new tyres on the rear, swapped the old rear tyres to the front - but discovered the inner edge is excessively worn, 2-3mm on both tyres. So one tyre has been on for about 20K and is barely legal, the other has only been on for 10-11K -
Nissan Leaf - Used Nissan Leaf Owners Advice 22 Nov 2019 (Forum)
Are there any owners who can recommend a used model based on the below? I've seen some ranging from £6k but understand it is an old battery model so therefore lower range. If I buy direct from a garage they will fit the home charge for free but the models start from approx -
Jeep Cherokee - Can I Soup Up the Power Steering? 11 Mar 2019 (Forum)
but it just feels 20% heavier than my old Hyundai (IX35) and my back seems to be responding badly to it. I'm really not enjoying the ride and wanted to explore my options before I sell it at a big loss. I want to keep the car as every other aspect is great but I can't do with the pain -
Hyundai i20 - How to sell 30 Jan 2019 (Forum)
After a long wait, we have now got a date for the arrival of our new little KIA; we hadn’t organised a p/x at the time, which probably was a mistake; so will be looking to sell the existing Hyundai i20 which we have had from new but will be seven years old -
Peugeot 307 SW - Aircon regas 22 Apr 2018 (Forum)
I should start by saying I'm not technical/mechanical at all! I have an old (but well maintained) 2004 Peugeot 307. I use the aircon all the time to cool in summer and demist, etc... in cooler months. I've noticed recently that it's no longer producing cold air. Options -
BMW M240i - BMW M240i for family 5 Jan 2018 (Forum)
We are a couple with 5 year old kid. Wanted to buy a nice driving roadster (mx-5/z4) for some time. However, just seen some reviews of M240i and the idea of a nice driving machine which can carry our kid also for some open top motoring looks attractive. Could someone throw feedback about -

Skoda Octavia - Turbo or hybrid... which is the greater gamble? 15 Oct 2017 (Forum)

BMW 3 Series Compact - Battery Starter Packs 4 Aug 2017 (Forum)
My car battery, still under warranty, in an old 3 Series BMW seems to be playing up. Tested by the supplier (it is a Varta brand) it usually shows as "battery good, needs charge" even after being charged fully (CTEK-MX5) a few days earlier. The voltage seems to drop quickly to as low as 12.3v -
Advice re buying a secondhand crossover 1 Jun 2017 (Forum)
We're looking to purchase a 2 or 3 year old low mileage crossover vehicle. We'd love a Nissan Qashqai but they are out of our sub £9500 budget. We tend to keep our cars as long as possible and drive them into the ground, so value retention isn't important - in fact if they have lost -
Kia Rio 2005-11 - Rio 05-11 - 1.4 petrol or 1.5 diesel 1 Mar 2017 (Forum)
Looking for a cheap robust car to run for next 4 or so years. This era of rio seems a good bet. We previously had a very reliable picanto but a step up in power and size would be nice. Very simple question, our annual mileage will be circa 15k possibly more would you take the diesel -
Corsa - Possible faked service history, any rights? 27 Jul 2016 (Forum)
not see this at the time?) Anyhow, IF this service history was faked, would I have any rights? The car is low mileage and I do not doubt the mileage is genuine, rather, that the old owner never bothered having it serviced because it was doing such low miles. I bought it back in March from a trade seller -
Surprised by - Traffic around Leeds 13 Jan 2016 (Forum)
Was up in Leeds monday to go to a funeral and see an old friend at the same time. That is positively the most traffic I have seen outside of the M25 on a weekday afternoon. I was frequently in the wrong lane even with the satnav attempting to drive in utterly unfamiliar surroundings -

Brand spanking new, or perhaps a 3 to 4 month old "rejected" model, as it seems like quite an appropriate time to drive a hard bargain. PS Honda and Toyoya salespersons were in a very bouyant upbeat mood this afternoon, per the Toyota guy, he had customers coming direct from -
