  Hi all,   TIA for any advice. I am looking at ML's (1999-2003ish). We don't do many miles so am not too bothered with the extra fuel comsumption of a petrol one - and have seen a couple of 430's with LPG conversions and have had gas vehicles before. Does anyone have any advice

  Hi, I have just had my 07 astra 1.9 serviced at a local garage (80k miles), and the fuel economy has dropped from 48 ish mpg down to 40mpg.  I have contacted the garage and they say they have only changed the oil and all the filters as per service schedule.  Can antone think

  Anyone know what would cause an occasional misfiring in my 2.0 TDi Passatt - happens at about 1800RPM with light throttle at say 42 MPH in 4th gear or 30 in 3rd.   can anyone help me, my 525sport has been smoking recently when driving at high revs.i've had misfiring problems aswell so i changed my plugs. it drives fine if i take it easy, but the problems still there. i think i have a fuel injecter problem. has anyone had any problems similar to mine?

  I was wondering if smaller (below 1.9 Litres) turbo diesel engines need to be driven harder to achieve better fuel economy. I was chatting to a bloke down the pub the other night and he thinks that changing up each gear at 2.500 rpm is no good as he thinks at least 3.000 rpm to get the right revs

  happens when (a) you freewheel with engine idling or (b) you simply go onto trailing throttle. Does the management system / fuel injection actually shut down completely? I say this because in a friend's car the computer showed zero consumption when he was on trailing throttle.
