  I am hoping someone has seen this or can give me some further ideas as I am running out!! My Focus has started to stall about 5 seconds after being started. It starts perfectly and runs fine, but it cuts out just as though it has been turned off. No lights come on until the revs drop enough

  at approx 70 mph, the fuel gauge read about 1/8th of a tank of diesel left (midway between empty and a quarter) and the engine just stops responding no lights come on the dash and i lose all power.   Maybe it's impossible to know but taking an educated guess , with proposed ban on diesel/petrol by 2035, do people think used 4x4 prices for older bigger 4x4's such as a Toyota land cruiser are going to plummet which some analysts say or basically become too expensive to run as the government
