  I have a heavy duty 12v tractor battery that has been allowed to run flat. When I put it on a mains battery charger the casing of the battery becomes very warm to hot even on a trickle charge. Is this normal or is the battery beyond recovery? Is their any simple way to know if the battery

  having serious trouble with all interior elecs on 2.0 sri 140....alternator light is on but is charging at 14v interior lights flash windows wont work unless handbrake is off low fuel light flashes all the time all gages and dials dropped to zero but all exterior lighting works fine a engine runs

  hi i have a 99 vectra v reg.and the temp goes quite high there are two fans one in front and one behind the rad. how can i test both of the fans are running correctly.i think one is for the air con, but whitch one and some one has told me they have differant speeds on them ......so can some one

  Ladies / Gents, I own a 1.6CL MK3 Golf .which keeps stalling at idle speeds e.g when I lift my foot off the accelerator at a road junction . It also will not start unless I have my foot on the accelerator. The engine appears to be unable to run at idle, which I think is about 600 rpm. Any ideas

  My 1999 TDI90 Polo estate has smoked a little on start up for sometime. Always happens when left overnight. Smells of diesel. Car has covered 70k & uses no oil. Runs well.
