My wife's Corsa has just passed the MOT & I note the emissions print out shows under the fast idle test CO is 0% "%vol" & HC is 0 "ppm". Is a nil reading possible? Admittedly the 2005 read out showed only small amounts - same garage. The only difference is the engine has been run on Shell Optimax -

Mains Battery charging 11 Sep 2006 (Forum)
I have a heavy duty 12v tractor battery that has been allowed to run flat. When I put it on a mains battery charger the casing of the battery becomes very warm to hot even on a trickle charge. Is this normal or is the battery beyond recovery? Is their any simple way to know if the battery -

Ladies / Gents, I own a 1.6CL MK3 Golf .which keeps stalling at idle speeds e.g when I lift my foot off the accelerator at a road junction . It also will not start unless I have my foot on the accelerator. The engine appears to be unable to run at idle, which I think is about 600 rpm. Any ideas -
