  I have a 306 Hdi which when the engine is cold has recently started to idle from 900rpm down to 700rpm and feels like it may stall. It drives absolutley fine when its running with no loss of power so im wondering could it be an electrical problem with a sensor playing up? cheers

  My wife travels about 3.5K miles a year only. Mostly reasonably local travel. The car has always received full servicing at the main dealer. It is about time I did a bit for her.   Has two batteries, which are apparently running at 25-40% efficiency. Personally I'd probably have replaced just one on the grounds that 1) I'm stingy 2) Does a car REALLY need 2 batteries - I know Toyota advertise putting 2 batteries in the Hilux so as to avoid being let down if one dies.

  hi i have a problem starting my L200 2.5 td it takes ages to start on a morning but once started it will start everytime on the button. when it does eventually start it kicks out loads of grey smoke for about 10 seconds then runs clear i would be grateful of any suggestions cheers noz

  Hi, What is the lowest temperature that the A/C system will work to clear the windscreen on my 53 reg car? I suppose that it differs slightly but there must be a temperature at which there's no point having it on. I like to run it up every couple of weeks to keep it working OK

  hi all ive recently bought a lugna est and heating never been very warm just luke warm and with cold frost coming if i run the car to boiling point with no heating on then turn it on in the front fans it comes out hot then comes out luke warm any one else had this is it a easy job to sort out

  Hi, I've bought a Rover 200 as a run around but it's not kicking out hot air through the heaters. If the car is stood still the temp gauge goes up as normal, doesn't over heat but only a small amount of heat comes out of the heaters. If you start driving then the gauge goes down to nothing

  Hi, igot a 2.0 tddi 02 plate mondeo 160k on the clock, runs fine doesen't use a drop of oil but on start up when cold smokes like hell for a couple of mins, been told this seems more than EGR valve although not checked that, any other ideas, car drives perfect otherwise, thanks colin.

  Having a problem with ABS noisy as the vehicle is stopping and running on for a second or two after it stops.
