  Hi How difficult is it to replace the power steering rack? Is just 2 bolts holding it in place and 1 more connecting the UJ to the steering column aside from the steering rods? Is it worthwhile replacing the pump too as it's run dry of fluid. Replies greatly appreciated

  I turned off my sat nav whilst engine was off When i tured sat nav back on the radio has lost the restore to new stations. Also after a long run battery reads 12.7 but after 1 hour this is down to 12.2 Ihave checked removing all fuses but cannot find discharge. I gather american cars do this

  Can I change the thermostat without draining the coolant.?  The coolant is fairly new so don't want to have to renew it again. and I know that by draining off either by removing the bottom hose or rad plug, usually results in the coolant running all over the place picking up dirt

  hi my car has died and can't seem to get it to run again! b***** thing. it is a 2002 ford ranger 2.5 diesel. it has an error code of 6241 coming up on a diagnostics computer. i believe this is something to do with the imobiliser ? but no idea really!  It wont do

  Hi just fitted new rear dusk and pads to my car. Also new n/s rear caliper. Problem. Cannot get a brake pedal, it's goes to the floor when pressed. Have run at least 3 litres of fluid through it using 2 man bleed. Have tried it with new master cylinder fitted, still same. Any ideas TIA

  hi ,ive put a second hand engine in a p reg 214 rover .ive change all the parts over from the old engine ,i have cranked the engine over and ive got petrol running from the exhaust manifold on no 4 cylinder .any ideas ,i thought the valve timing might be out .

  Is it me or is the instability of this web-site still pretty bad.  I use 2 PCs to view it, one being a centrino based laptop with win xp pro and inernet explorer 8 installed.  The other being a 2 week old Core i3 based desktop Win 7 with internet explorer 9 running.  Both browsers
