  My grandson has recently purchased a 100,000mile b.m.w 320ci2.2 6 cyl he has to top[ the oil up every 4-500 miles by about a litre He does not thrash it at all,it does not throw out any smoke and runs well. Is this normal if not what couldbe the cause i look forward to your help Regards Malcolm
