The temprature gauge went upto red and the Multi-function warning light Automatic transmission/cooling system came on but then it went off. Now it is back on and the car is shudderring and making a whurring noise. The car has lost power as well. -

My daughter has a "W" reg Yaris automatic. I washed it a couple of days ago and left it on the drive. Now this morning the rear wheels are locked solid. I've driving it gently to and fro, and tried forward and reverse. Any ideas? StephenH -

What exactly is this speedgear system? I've seen a number of classified ads (on ebay) for these which describe them as 7 speed tiptronic manuals that can be used as automatics. I've not heard of any other car, auto or manual, with 7 speeds (unless you include reverse). -
