  problems, screwed everything back together only to find that the car cranks over fine, but will not start. I have checked fuses and relays etc, bled the injector pipes at the unions and a small amount of fuel seemed to be oozing from them so I tightened them all back up, but the car still won't fire

  misfiring as I removed a plug connector and the misfiring sound here was different. The fuel filter is fairly new and the fuel pump was replaced, this did not solve the problem. All ht leads appear in good condition.

  and the only code it displayed was a fuel sensor code. Which meant that the tank was empty (this must be because it zero'd out.)  nothing else comes up on the diag machine. He's adament its the fuel sensor i dont think it is. not sure its the vss as there is no loss of power or any intermittent light
