  The inside fuel-cap flap lists the recoomended tyre pressure range for all main tyres (between 2.1 and 2.7 bar). I can´t find the recommended value for the space saver spare though. Anyone know - and can tell me where to look ?   Thanks.

  2005 Dispatch has a flat spot when accelerating in slow moving traffic.  When this happens i get a quick plume of white smoke as the flat spot goes.  Have changed fuel filter and added injector cleaner. No flat spot when changing gear in fast moving traffic. Any ideas please

  After a small bump, the theory is that the red button (near the suspension leg) is pressed to reset the fuel pump and the car should start again. I have tried this on mine but all I can hear when I turn the key is the pin of the starter motor firing, and then nothing else? Has my starter gone

  When the car is cold in pretty much kangaroos its way down the road and when it does stutter it pours blue smoke. It disapears when it warms up The battery test has been fine and glow plugs replaced. I was wondering if there was a cold start mechanism on the fuel pump

  Does anyone know  the difference between the 5 and 6 speed manual gearboxes? I thought the 6 speed would be higher geared, so more economical, but the official fuel consumption figures show its less economical.

  I've just read the Ultraviolet report on the Astra Club 1.6i 16v which claims an overall fuel consumption of 55mpg. Shurely shome mishtake, mishta??? Even Mrs W's 1.6 Focus, when driven like a nun on a motorway run, will only get 44mpg.

  ie a 2WD Yeti or an Octavia? , perhaps a 4*4 to get better ground clearance/ robustness? We do NOT need or particularly want a 4WD ( with the fuel penalty) as I can drive perfectly well with 2WD, despite current conditions oh and diesel, diesel, diesel cheers M

  I'm interested in what MPG other peoples PUG 307 HDI's are returning. I've got a 2.0 (90) SW and think I'm probably only averaging 45mpg in what I would consider to be quite fuel efficient driving and journeys. I was expecting 50mpg ! Is this normal?
