Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate - Petrol in a diesel engine- is it possible to tell? 31 May 2011 (Forum)
Is it possible to tell if a previous owner of a car has mistakenly refuelled a car (in this case a Mercedes) with petrol instead of diesel? If they have, are there any symptoms in the car's behaviour that might show eg reduced fuel consumption? Appreciate your thoughts -
Nissan Primera IV - Super unleaded V unleaded 23 Feb 2011 (Forum)
Hi just recently got a Nissan primera 2003 (2.0) and it says in the manual and on the fuel filler lid to use Unleaded Petrol wih a Octane rating of at least 95 RON. What would happen if i use normal unleaded? And info and advice welcome. Thanks -
corsa club - cuts out 13 Dec 2010 (Forum)
stood for 2 weeks in the snow, started first time. Thirty miles later after much needed supermarket shop, car starts then immediately cuts out. Many tries later it'll start but so frustrating. Seems like no fuel getting through . Battery has been checked and is fine. advice -

09 focus 1.6 diesel - clicking noise at around 1200 revs 17 May 2010 (Forum)
at 1200 revs this noise sounds from under the bonnet/engine compartment, just sounds like a valve openning or a relay kicking in, no disruption to the running of the car, fuel economy perfect, approx 15 miles per hour, any ideas guys. -

Just noticed that (American) NHRA drag racing is back on Monday nights, channel 5 US (Freeview 35) 7pm. Short on corners, but the watching the Top Fuels do 0-320mph in just over 4 seconds side by side is quite impressive. -

Have a 1996 1.6 {added to header so that people can see beforehand} polo saloon,seems quite heavy on fuel? just serviced,but noticed the plugs have four electrodes to each spark plug.Are these performance plugs? cheers. -

My motors only 3 years old with 46k and it seems to be idling erratically and hanging when you depress the clutch. Now I?ve heard that these engines are prone to carbon build up due to our crappy fuel here in Britain. But it seems a really low mileage for that to happen anybody got any ideas -
