  spark plugs, cabling, coil pack, fuel filter, crank sensor, fuel rail sensor. Has anybody had the same issue? Everything has been checked and double checked....would it be best to change the injector on cylinder 4?

  resolved! I’m no mechanic, so I’ve been trying to do things myself with a little help from the internet. This is what I’ve tried so far. I’ve had it plugged in to the computer and nothing comes up. I’ve changed the fuel pump relay. I’ve changed all 4 glow plugs. Had a new coolant temperature sensor

  . Local garage checked and the code is related to something in the fuel system, it says losing rail pressure but the mechanic checked and it isn't losing pressure, so it's going to cost an arm and a leg just to go through everything,  to rule things out and I will be without a car for 2-3 weeks

  Had the clutch and DMF replaced a month ago.  The car went in on the back of a recovery vehicle because after filling up with fuel and then a short journey, it would not start.  Apparently, at the garage,  the mechanic got it started after repeated attempts on the starter

  it has had good second hand inlet manifold preheater and fuel pump relays. To give you an extra clue after the engine has cut out the fuel tank vent valve behind the airbox clicks in time with the inlet manifold preheater relay. Any ideas would be most gratefully received

  think the fuel pump is not delivering full fuel, is there any way to test these fly by wire pumps without selling my house and using a vauxhall dealer as it seems with these engines they have no idea what is wrong when the ecu light is not on.If anyone can shed some light on the problem please let me

  not working Yesterday I noticed a front bulb is also out.. unsure if it has been out since Wednesday. Fuel consumption seemed fine until a friend asked about it... now think it is going down quicker but maybe just mind playing tricks. Did a short 4.6 mile run across town with a short stretch

  Hi, I bought a 1999 Peugeot 306 1.4 as a non runner, with a suspected ECU fault.  A new ECU had been put on the car, the crank sensor changed but the car still wouldn't start.  The old ECU has been put back on the car.   It turns over, I believe it to be getting fuel

  need advice on my A6 2.4 auto 1997 . about 2 months ago it had to taken to a audi dealer as it would not start after left unused for 2 weeks.not battery problem.the dealer said there was fuel flooding and changed all sparks and add fuel treatment. start ok since but had trouble with the engine

   My car is supposed to have a fuel tank capacity of 45 litres.  The gauge shows" full"," half full", "quarter full"  and the red section.  I believe the gauge is calibrated incorrectly because it always takes quite a lot less to brim the tank than the gauge would suggest
