  Following on from the "Dealer attempted rip-off or fraud?" thread, my question is about servicing. As soon as the car is out of warranty, why take it for a regular service? Let me clarify, I would always recommend an oil and filter change when due, but you can get that done at most quick fit places

  , these K12 cam chain stories are disturbing to read. The old K11 chains might get noisy over 100k, but an oil change soon quietened things down. By the time the K12 came out, Nissan had many years of producing reliable chain-drive engines. Must be the influence of Renault...
