Skoda Yeti (2009 - 2017)
1.2 TSI 110ps S 5dr
Mediocre
This car has a reputation based on hyperbole not reality. It is OK, bland, soulless but functional is the best I can do. Build quality is a bit suspect as well with semi functional radio, door handles that pull right out of the car, rusting doors and sills. It handles fine, it is "brisk" but there is no real power after 50 per, it is fairly economical - how economical I have no idea as the MPG reading has never worked and I don't really care anyway, but given the snail like performance it better be spectacular. The "Airy Interior" is actually depressing acres of grey plastic, the seat is not very comfortable and un-supportive, the boxy shape means I cannot get my bicycle in it which is essential for work. Good point, as I rarely drive it apart from shopping once a week it will stay low mileage and hold its value for years. I won't keep it though life is too short for mediocre cars.
