Promising but glitchy

This car has everything to be excellent, but the reliability of the electronics disappoints. Dealer is unable to resolve and I believe them. It’s probably badly written software, that can only be fixed by Renault. And you would think they had time to do it. Ongoing issues are: say nav instructions show up on head up display when they feel like. Most of the time they don’t show up. Occasionally the HUD simply turns off. The wing mirrors position seems to change on its own. Keyless entry is totally random. Quite often have to use the key to unlock the doors, and quite often I walk away and the car doesn’t lock. Today the multimedia screen stopped working altogether. Turns out it was the fuse, which on an 18 month car is disappointing.

Otherwise car is very comfortable and drives well. The google system is great and the voice controls superior to more expensive cars. Well built and with great materials, and with decent acceleration.

It has to potential to be a great car, but is let down by the reliability of the electronics. Would I buy another Renault? Probably not.
