A smile every time I drive it.
Bought as a 65th birthday present to me, I am still in love with it almost 8 years later. With replaced silicone banana arms, an UPRev remap, K&N air filters, and modified rear sports exhaust, it sounds great, steers sublimely and loves to rev up to 7500rpm. It is comfortable for long trips to Europe; but has plenty of performance to get your heart racing when I am in "hooligan" mood. Hood is watertight and when down, there is little buffeting. With Japanese reliability, it gives fun, old school thrills. Downsides are only about 24mpg on 99 octane fuel, small boot; but enough room for 2 large soft bags with a weeks worth of clothes for 2 (and up to 17 bottles of wine) and a thirst for oil!
