Mitsubishi Outlander (2012 - 2021)
Outlander phev 2.0 auto 5 door
Would I buy again No due to charging cost and low range but overall a large practical car .
I purchased the March16 plate Mitsubishi Outlander phev on July 2019 with approximate mileage of 30000 it now has 56000 +
Charge mileage then was up to 35 now it is lucky to get 21 now the cost of charging is no longer economic for the range I get so most of the time run as a hybrid the battery warranty was for 8 years now expired Mitsubishi said that to replace the battery inside 8 years it had to charge only the range of 16 miles or less mine was still getting the range of 21 to 22 just out of warranty.
On this alone I would now go for a modern hybrid only because basically on the cost of charging it is not worth plugging in for the range I get .
The car overall is practical and a good load carrier being that much larger suits my needs .
Driving in a straight line ok rolls a bit on bendy roads performance is adequate out of EV mode.
Would I buy again No due to charging cost and battery performance no-one can tell me the cost of a new the best information I can get is £2000 plus.
