Honda Jazz (2008 - 2015)
1.4 i-VTEC ES Plus 99 5dr Hatchback
Cracking little car
Bought this as a second car also wife's main local transport. Had a Hyundai 1.2 i20 before.
The Honda seems a cracking little car. Not only does it seem big when you get into it (presumably to do with all the glass), it generally feels like a bigger car to drive.
Handling is perfectly OK although the steering doesn't have a huge amount of feel. Suspension is firm, as with most modern small cars. It's quiet, in fact very quiet in round-the-town work although road noise starts to intrude over 50mph, but again this is hardly unusual. The various combinations of load space look very clever although we haven't really tried them out yet.
Intrigued at the flexibility of the little VVT engine, which encourages you to change up at what seems far too low a speed. It works, though, and that helps keep the MPG so high.
So...only had the car a week so far, but my wife loves it already and I have to say (being fairly picky) that I really rather like it too.
