Nice quick car but....

This is a solid and well built car. It's quick, it's comfortable all day long in very supportive seats. Nice low driving position. Can be very sedate and polite when you're tootling around.
However! Some refinements would be nice. I missed not having heated seats and heated steering wheel which I had on the new ford focus. But you know this when you're buying so not a surprise. Just something for the wishlist.
And the turning circle! I swear I've seen 40ft artics turn around in spaces where the Type R would need at least a 3 point turn. It's horrendous and very noticeable in pretty much any situation where you need your car to face the opposite direction.

Once when I collected the car from the main dealer after a service they said that one of the front wheels was buckled. Strange as I would have noticed having hit anything hard enough to damage a wheel, which at no point ever happened. So I can only assume the 20 inch wheels are not as well made as they should be. Is this perhaps why Honda have specced the latest Type R with 19 inch wheels instead? Hmmm...
Apart from this it's an easy car to live with. Just don't hit any imaginary potholes!
