Very able workhorse with very good handling on faster country roads

I use the car for commuting between Southwest and Central Scotland. Most miles are covered on faster country roads where the handling abilities of the car become obvious.
Other cars that I`ve owned include Mercedes SL and Porsche 911 and this Audi handles just as well as these performance sportscars. My only gripe would be the hard damped suspension which can be jarring over poorer surfaces, I`m sure Audi could soften the damping rates without losing the good handling characteristics.
Engine power output is smooth and the torque curve is very usable. Top end acceleration is impressive for this relatively heavy car and the fuel economy figures are reasonable when measured against the performance.

All in all, I`m glad i bought the car and I very much enjoy driving it.
